The TW30 was designed to have all the capability of the larger TW60 tape wrapping machine, but with improved operator clearance and footprint ideal for small aerospace structures. Tape heating, tape cooling, tape compaction, tape tension, and other process variables can be controlled within the wrapping recipe for reduced operator interaction. Automatic build up and peel back monitoring maintain precise positioning of the tape during wrapping, and tape rollers and heating nozzles can be swapped out quickly for tape widths up to 7 inches. With an Allen Bradley control system and process variable recording, the TW30 is ideal for aerospace and defense programs.
